ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health (Day Shift) in Baltimore, Maryland.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse will provide care to patients across various inpatient units, including children's, adolescents', and adult populations. Nurses are expected to have solid clinical judgment and possess strong assessment, delegation, and leadership qualities. They will float across all 19 inpatient units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive behavioral health nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Assess and document patient needs and progress using the Sunrise charting system.
• Observe and monitor patient behavior and health status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed without additional compensation.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
• BCLS certification required.
