Schedule/Shift

Two 16-hour shifts each weekend from 3 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Adolescent Neuropsych Unit, which primarily serves high acuity patients with nonverbal autism. The ideal candidate will possess experience in neuropsychology and be comfortable working in a dynamic, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care to adolescents and pediatrics with developmental disabilities and cognitive disorders.
• Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care using Sunrise EMR system.
• Provide support for verbal and non-verbal patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Assist in monitoring patient behavior and responding to crises as appropriate.
• May take on charge nurse responsibilities without additional compensation.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably with a neuropsych population.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification required.
• CPI certification preferred.
• Must have a valid RN license in hand upon submission; temporary licenses are not accepted.
