Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist in Interventional Radiology will provide crucial support in performing a variety of procedures including angiography, stent placements, and other endovascular interventions. The role involves maintaining a sterile field, room setup, and circulating during procedures. This position is suitable for those with experience in adult and geriatric patient care and adept in Epic for charting.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including adrenal angiography, embolization, and paracentesis.
• Set up equipment and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Circulate in the room and assist in patient management throughout the procedure.
• Document procedures accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or related fields.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current California Radiologic Technologist license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• ARRT or CCI RCIS certification preferred.
