CT Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Available shifts include Mid (15:00 - 23:30) and Night (23:00 - 07:30). Shift times may vary, with work required every other weekend.

Job Description

This position is responsible for performing a comprehensive range of CT exams. The CT Technologist will, when necessary, act as a lead and assist in the training and mentoring of other staff members.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams including Code Stroke, CTA, Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Heart, CT Biopsy, Spine, and Facial bones.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff members.
• Conduct various CT procedures such as biopsies, myelography, CT arthrography, and colonography.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and contribute to quality assurance activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT certification in CT and Radiography.
• BLS certification required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in performing CT procedures.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is mandatory; additional experience with Phillips is preferred.
