Schedule/Shift

Night shift, 4 - 12 hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

As a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care for individuals in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. You will monitor patients, assess their conditions, administer medications, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure a safe and effective care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and patient education in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry readings to assess patient conditions.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to formulate and execute patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes effectively.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care as necessary.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Experience in handling patient ratios in a medical-surgical setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must have a Permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Active BLS and ACLS certification required.
