Schedule/Shift

Night shift, 4 - 12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires proficiency in telemetry monitoring and support for patients with a variety of medical/surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and health status, interpreting telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with patient assessments and evaluations.
• Provide support and education to patients and families regarding their care.

Required Experience

Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
