ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (Night Shift) in Clare, Michigan.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires working Night Shifts, specifically 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse functions primarily in direct patient care within the Emergency Room, demonstrating competent clinical practice. Responsibilities include triaging patients, obtaining their history and vital signs, and assessing their needs. In the absence of a physician, the RN acts independently to provide immediate care during life-threatening situations.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments, intervening appropriately and promptly while participating in care planning.
• Regularly assesses patient needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's authorized plan of care.
• Processes physician/provider orders accurately and in a timely manner, including follow-ups regarding medication changes and clarifications.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of treatment plans and facilitates adjustments to improve patient care.
• Actively collaborates with team members to update or revise treatment plans based on current information.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience is required. Travel experience is highly preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Michigan RN License (LARA and/or Nursys must state Active)
• Active American Heart Association BLS
• Active American Heart Association ACLS
• Active American Heart Association PALS
• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification
