Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will implement therapeutic programs developed by Physical Therapists to assist individuals in enhancing their quality of life after injury, illness, or loss of a body part. Consideration will be given to each patient's gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients as directed by Physical Therapists.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families on care and rehabilitation processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience

• Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Montana.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current PTA license in Montana.
