Job Description
The Wesley Birth Care Suites offers a dynamic environment with 29 beds dedicated to Labor and Delivery, supported by a skilled team of 20 staff members. You will be part of a fast-paced birthing center that focuses on high-risk pregnancies, post-operative gynecological surgeries, fetal monitoring, and the care of both NICU moms and patients readmitted for postpartum complications.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit, managing patient assessments and care plans.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, ensuring that patients' needs are met during labor and delivery.
- Assist in post-operative care for gynecological and urogynecology surgeries.
- Support high-risk pregnancies, including those with PPROM, Preeclampsia, Previa, and PTL.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of current Labor and Delivery RN experience.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification.
- AWHONN and NRP certifications are preferred.
