Schedule/Shift

This position is for the night shift from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing care to patients in a critical care environment, including assisting with ventilation management and airway placement. The therapist will work within a team to support patient recovery and provide essential respiratory therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as per protocols.
• Manage patients on mechanical ventilation and provide weaning protocols.
• Assist in procedures related to airway management.
• Monitor and assess patient ventilation status and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Document patient care and treatments in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Experience in adult critical care is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred.
• Must possess a valid compact respiratory therapy license.
