Night Shift: 19:00-07:00, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, and every other weekend required.

Job Description

Join Memorial Medical Center located in the beautiful Mesilla Valley of southern New Mexico. This facility offers a range of healthcare services and is recognized for its quality and compassionate care.

The position is in the Ortho/Onc/MS unit, which consists of 32 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:6. The unit features electronic health records via Meditech and provides a collaborative working environment supported by a skilled supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient health and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
• Assist with patient assessments, evaluations, and treatments.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record system.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification is required.
