ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Day Shift) in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Floating and call required.

Job Description

This position involves general medical-surgical nursing duties within an inpatient nursing unit. The role includes caring for a patient population with a typical ratio of 1:6 and may involve occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor. The electronic medical record system used is MedHost.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for medical-surgical patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and responses in MedHost.

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing role.
• BLS certification is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
• Must have state licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico.
