ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Night Shift) in Lufkin, Texas.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM, with a schedule of 6 days on and 8 days off. No call is required, and floating may be necessary.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be working in a Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 6:1. This position involves providing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring and wound care management. The candidate will utilize the MEDHOST electronic medical record system for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in the telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the EMR system.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a telemetry or medical-surgical nursing role is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Active RN license in the state of Texas is necessary.
