ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Day Shift) in Florence, South Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12 hour shifts, Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM. This position includes an every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a medical-surgical setting, with a focus on renal patients. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for patient assessments, developing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic patient care in a medical-surgical unit.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Manage and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in a medical-surgical unit.
• Experience with patient ratios of 6-7 patients per nurse.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or a Compact license.
• BLS certification is required.
