Schedule/Shift
Schedule varies from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 10-hour shift. Must be able to work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday.
Job Description
The Ground Floor Surgery unit is the main inpatient surgical area, providing care 24/7 with a case volume ranging between 28 to 55 cases daily. This unit includes a diverse range of service lines: Orthopedic, Neurology, Urology, General Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery, featuring advanced robotic-assisted surgery with 3 Xi Robots.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative care as required.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during all surgical procedures.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Surgery unit.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
