ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Acute Medicine Unit (Day Shift) in Duluth, Georgia.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires working 12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with a schedule of 12x3 (three days per week). Additionally, the candidate must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be part of the Acute Medicine Unit, responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical setting. This includes managing patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the medical-surgical specialty is required.

Certifications/Licensure

Current AHA BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
