Schedule/Shift

The shift is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a 12-hour Day shift, working 3 days a week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Acute GI Medicine Unit will provide high-quality care to patients dealing with gastrointestinal issues. The role involves assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health management and medication.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in the nursing specialty is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Certification.
• Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
