Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing routine CT scans as per radiologist protocols, functioning independently without supervision, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is preferred. Familiarity with venipuncture and procedures like biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT scans and follow radiologist protocols.
• Function independently without supervision in an acute hospital setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Administer venipuncture as needed for imaging studies.
• Assist in procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular, or cardiac imaging if applicable.

Required Experience

A minimum of two (2) years' work experience in an acute hospital setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
