Schedule/Shift

Monday-Thursday, 8 PM - 6 AM, with holiday coverage as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our imaging team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating MRI machines efficiently, ensuring patient comfort during procedures, and collaborating with physicians to deliver timely diagnostic imaging results. An understanding of medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging services.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to promote comfort.
• Insert IVs as necessary for imaging tests.
• Document all procedures, ensuring patient confidentiality is upheld.
• Perform patient care tasks as required.

Required Experience

• Two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• Must have experience with GE MRI scanners.
• Must have Injection Certification.
• New York State Rad Tech license (must be willing to obtain after starting).
