Schedule/Shift

Monday - Friday; 3pm - 11:30pm EST, on call/callback, holidays, and occasional weekends.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process. This role requires collaboration with physicians to provide accurate diagnostics and effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and verify exams before initiating scans.
• Coordinate with physicians for diagnostic imaging requirements.
• Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures to ensure comfort.
• Insert IVs when necessary for tests.
• Position patients safely, including those with limited mobility.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EPIC system and ensure proper documentation related to imaging.
• Ensure the scanning facility is clean and safe for patient use.

Required Experience

• Two (2) years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Current New York State (NYS) licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, with injection therapy certification required at the time of submission.
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Certifications/Licensure

• New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association required).
• Injection certification preferred; willing to complete during orientation process.
