ARMStaffing is looking for a CT Technologist, Radiology (Night Shift) in Rochester, New York.

Monday – Thursday, 9:30 PM – 8:00 AM EST; on call, callback, and holidays per unit needs.

Job Description

As a CT Technologist, you will confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating CT scans, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Your responsibilities include preparing patients for scans, explaining procedures to ensure comfort, and positioning patients, which may require safe handling of those with limited mobility. You will maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC system, ensuring images are properly documented and sent to the PACS system after exams. A clean and safe scanning environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification before scans.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare and comfort patients for scans; explain procedures.
• Insert IVs as necessary for tests.
• Position patients and utilize safe patient handling techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC; assure correct image transmission to PACS.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the scanning facility.

Required Experience

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• NYS licensure (must be obtained prior to starting the position).
• Two (2) years of Level 1 Trauma Center Experience.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT Certification
• NYS Licensure
• Injection certification preferred (must be willing to complete during orientation).
