ARMStaffing is looking for a CT Technologist, Radiology (Night Shift) in Rochester, New York.

Schedule/Shift

Monday to Thursday, 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM EST; on call, callback, and holidays as per unit needs.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will play a critical role in providing diagnostic imaging for patients. Responsibilities include confirming patient identity, preparing patients for scans, and explaining procedures to ensure patient comfort. The technologist will work directly with physicians to coordinate imaging needs while maintaining safety protocols. This role requires safe patient handling, including the lifting or moving of patients with limited mobility.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and verify exams prior to scans.
• Coordinate with physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process.
• Insert IVs as necessary and position patients appropriately.
• Document all necessary components accurately within the EPIC system.
• Ensure images are sent to PACS system accurately post-exam.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the scanning facility.

Required Experience

• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• New York State licensure (must obtain prior to starting position).
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Certifications/Licensure

• NYS licensure for CT Technologist.
• ARRT certification required.
• Injection certification preferred (must be willing to complete during orientation).
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment is preferred.
