Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with weekend hours every other weekend.

Job Description

The Emergency Department at Clinch Valley Medical Center is seeking skilled Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, pediatrics, and OB patients. With a commitment to patient safety and health outcomes, the unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and has a typical patient ratio of 5:1.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions based on patient conditions.
• Document care provided and medical necessity in the medical record in a timely manner.

Required Experience

Registered Nurses must possess the following certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Experience in an emergency department setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

All candidates must hold current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
