Job Description

The Emergency Department at Clinch Valley Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. This 16-bed unit serves a diverse patient population including geriatric, adult, pediatric, and OB patients.

The role involves performing patient assessments, identifying and initiating appropriate nursing interventions, and providing care appropriate to the condition and age of patients. Timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity is also required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care for a diverse patient population.
• Document medical necessity and care in the medical record promptly.

Required Experience

Experience in an emergency department setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
