Job Description
Join a dedicated team in the Women's Services unit at TriStar StoneCrest, where we focus on delivering personalized care to laboring patients. With 9 labor and delivery beds, 3 swing rooms, 2 operating rooms, and an on-site 3-bed OBED, we ensure comprehensive support for both mothers and newborns. Our unit features a dedicated CRNA, midwife in-house 24/7, and an OBGYN on call, ensuring that high-risk deliveries receive immediate, specialized attention.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to laboring patients while supporting their choices and promoting vaginal birth opportunities.
- Circulate in the operating room and manage procedures such as IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, and nitrous oxide use.
- Assist in addressing postpartum hemorrhage using the JADA system.
- Engage in couplet care to ensure that newborns remain at the bedside with their mothers, facilitating breastfeeding.
- Utilize CPN and Meditech for documentation purposes.
Required Experience
- Active RN certification with ACLS, BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring credentials.
- Experience with advanced skills such as Spinning Babies and STABLE is preferred.
