Job Description

The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to each patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role also includes ensuring the design of functional treatment programs to promote an effective return to community activities while serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans focused on progressing patients toward discharge.
• Document medical records in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Delegate and direct therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders.
• Participate in student programs, providing appropriate supervision and support for student learning objectives.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain professional licensure in good standing, completing all required continuing education.
• Promote patient and employee safety, adhering to clinic guidelines related to personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist license for the State of Colorado.
