This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Scheduled for 3x12 hour shifts, with day shifts from 07:00 - 19:00 and night shifts from 19:00 - 07:00.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit, you will provide holistic care to adult and geriatric patients. You will administer medications, perform assessments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The unit offers a supportive environment with access to various clinical resources.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Document care accurately in the electronic charting system.
• Provide patient education on managing health conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.

Required Experience

• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• ACLS certification required.
