ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (Day Shift) in Du Bois, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Schedules include 3x12-hour shifts for both day (07:00 - 19:30) and night (19:00 - 07:30) shifts. Patient ratios are 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit. Responsibilities may include patient assessments, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs. The candidate will work alongside an interdisciplinary team that includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and more.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage IVs.
• Monitor and interpret patient vitals and telemetry data.
• Provide wound care and manage central lines and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs).
• Perform patient assessments and document care provided.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and modify patient care plans.

Required Experience

• 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Experience with patient ratios in a similar environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
