ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Long Term Care (Varied Shift) in Honokaa, Hawaii.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Varied shift scheduling of 8-hour shifts: Days 0730 - 1530, Evenings 1500 - 2330, and Nights 2300 - 0730. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, and overtime rotation may be necessary.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a long-term care facility on the site of a hospital. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, administering treatments and medications, notifying medical providers of pertinent information, and managing patient admissions and discharges. The nurse will also assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), provide care for gastrostomy tubes and urinary catheters, administer nebulizer treatments, and manage wound vac and CPAP care, along with other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Notify MD/NP of any pertinent patient information.
• Manage the admissions and discharges of patients.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide care for gastrostomy tubes and urinary catheters.
• Administer nebulizer treatments and manage wound vac and CPAP care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

Active Hawaii License required by the start of the assignment. Travel experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Hawaii is mandatory.
