ARMStaffing is looking for an Occupational Therapist, Rehabilitation (Day Shift) in Pahala, Hawaii.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary based on hospital operations.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients, implementing an ongoing therapeutic physical therapy program as prescribed by the ordering physician. Candidates should be knowledgeable about updates to treatment plans, home exercise programs, and managing a full caseload while considering insurance authorization for re-evaluations. Experience in both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate patients in rehabilitation settings.
• Plan and implement therapeutic physical therapy programs.
• Update treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly.
• Manage a full caseload effectively.
• Coordinate re-evaluations based on insurance authorizations.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience working with adults in outpatient and acute rehabilitation settings.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Hawaii Occupational Therapy License required.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross required.
