7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, must work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing essential care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit. This unit features a team nursing approach, complete with techs on-site and support from a free Charge Nurse. You'll utilize Meditech for documentation and participate in patient safety rounds and bedside shift reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with hospital policies.
• Engage in hourly safety rounds and bedside shift reporting.
• Collaborate with a team of nursing staff and techs for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure proper documentation using Meditech.

Required Experience

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in a Medical-Surgical setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must have BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification (can be obtained here).
