Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing catheterizations and interventions related to coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias. This role requires familiarity with permanent pacemakers and experience in both diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Assist with procedures involving permanent pacemakers.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist in the set-up of necessary equipment.
• Document procedures and patient information utilizing the Epic charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Experience performing a caseload of 8-12 procedures daily.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT certification required, with willingness to consider RCIS with significant experience.
• Current Fluoroscopy permit.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
