Job Description
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedic Surgery, you will provide top-quality care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures. Your role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced nursing care in a high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient health status and creating individual care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments according to protocols.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care as needed.
- Assisting during surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety.
- Educating patients and families on post-operative care and recovery.
Required Experience
- Valid RN license in North Carolina.
- Experience in an orthopedic or surgical nursing setting.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
