Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedics unit, which consists of 32 individual rooms and a staff of 50. You will provide high-quality care to patients, ensuring their needs are met in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a team player who can adapt to changing situations while caring like family.
Responsibilities
- Perform dressing changes and suture/staple removal
- Manage Foley catheter and NG tube placements
- Conduct wound vac maintenance and removal
- Utilize various equipment including walkers, bedside commodes, and vital sign machines
Required Experience
- Current NC nursing license
- BLS certification
- Preferred experience in hospital and orthopedics settings
Certifications / Licensure
- Active North Carolina RN License
- BLS certification required
