5x8 Days, with shifts from 07:00 to 15:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Outpatient Infusion Unit will provide care for adult and geriatric patients with common diagnoses including oncology, neuro, anemia, and GI conditions. The role involves administering chemotherapy and blood products, supporting patients in a fast-paced infusion environment, and utilizing technologies such as EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, and glucometers.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and blood products according to established protocols.
• Manage patient care in an outpatient infusion setting.
• Utilize infusion equipment including Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps.
• Document patient interactions and treatments accurately using EPIC.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience

Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Chemotherapy certification required.
