Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be working in the Infusion Center, providing care to oncology patients. The nurse will be responsible for administering therapies and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring adherence to protocols within an acute care setting. The job involves utilizing the EPIC charting system to maintain accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed for oncology patients.
• Monitor patient reactions and progress, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.

Required Experience

Minimum of two years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• BSN required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required (as of 6/1/21)
• Flu vaccine required - no exceptions or exemptions
