ARMStaffing is looking for a Cath Lab Technologist, Electrophysiology (Day Shift) in Anchorage, Alaska.

Schedule/Shift

4x10 Day Shift with some Saturdays required as part of the regular schedule. There is on-call for Electrophysiology from 6-8 PM when staff goes home, with rare callbacks after hours.

Job Description

Join a Magnet facility in the heart of Anchorage, Alaska, as a Cath Lab Technologist specializing in Electrophysiology. You will be part of a dynamic team performing vital procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology evaluations, and advanced structural heart interventions. This position involves working with a comprehensive range of equipment and techniques, supporting various cardiac and interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations including STEMI, IABP, and Impella management.
• Assist in electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac mapping and ablation.
• Provide accurate monitoring and hemodynamic assessment during procedures.
• Utilize the Philips X-Ray System and various thrombectomy and atherectomy devices.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure equipment setup for procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar setting.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Valid state license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist.
