Schedule/Shift

This position operates on a 4x10 schedule, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Some Saturdays are required as part of the regular shifts, and there is an on-call requirement for Electrophysiology from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will be part of a dynamic team in an acute care Magnet Facility with 407 staffed beds. This role involves working with complex cardiology cases, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, structural heart procedures, and interventional radiology interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab.
• Utilize advanced equipment and technologies for procedures such as IABP, Impella, and structural heart interventions.
• Monitor patients' hemodynamics and manage necessary interventions during procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document procedures and patient responses accurately within the Epic charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a cath lab or electrophysiology setting.
• Experience with cardiology-related procedures, including catheterizations and device implants.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Valid state license is required; candidates can be submitted with a pending license (processing time 10-12 weeks).
