ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Nashville, Tennessee.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires working every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday), with flexible weekdays. The shift will be from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in a 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit at Tristar Southern Hills Medical Center. The unit will support patient care through equipment such as Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, and remote telemetry. Documentation will be managed through Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Perform strong patient assessments.
• Administer medications using IV pumps and handle Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets.
• Conduct procedures such as IV placement and Foley catheter placement.
• Provide care in accordance with patient experience requirements including BSSR and hourly rounding.

Required Experience

• Strong assessment skills.
• Experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing.

Certifications/Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIH)
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) preferred
