7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 36 guaranteed hours per week, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

Join the team in the Emergency Department at Clinch Valley Medical Center, where you will provide high-quality care to patients of all ages, including geriatric, adult, pediatrics, and OB. The facility operates with a 16-bed emergency department and typically has patient ratios of 5:1.

As an RN, you will be responsible for patient assessment, identifying needs, initiating appropriate nursing interventions, and documenting all care and interventions timely and accurately within the electronic health record (MediTech).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Initiate necessary nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Document all medical necessity and care provided accurately in the medical record.

Required Experience

• Experience in patient assessment and care planning.
• Ability to identify patient needs and implement nursing interventions.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Active Virginia RN license required.
