ARMStaffing is looking for a Physical Therapist, Acute Rehab (Day Shift) in Fort Mohave, Arizona.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The position requires working the Day Shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with guaranteed hours of 32 per week and every other weekend.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist in the Acute Rehab Unit, you will provide care for adult patients (age 18 and above) recovering from a variety of conditions, including strokes, hip fractures, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, motor vehicle accidents, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis. You will work in a unit with 12 beds, maintaining a patient ratio of 6:1, using electronic health records systems such as MedHost and NetHealth (ReDoc).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in the Acute Rehab Unit.
• Create and implement tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Document patient progress using electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to evaluate and treat patients in Med/Surg and ICU as necessary.

Required Experience

New graduates and experienced Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Physical Therapist license in Arizona.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
