06:45 AM - 07:15 PM, 12-hour Day Shift.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide essential cardiopulmonary services to both inpatients and outpatients, adhering to protocols approved by the medical staff. The role involves assisting with both invasive and non-invasive procedures, managing ventilators, and ensuring the maintenance of airways.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
• Perform intubations and insert arterial lines.
• Conduct pulmonary function studies, as well as cardiac and pulmonary stress tests.
• Collect and analyze blood gases.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience with ventilators, ventilator weaning, tracheostomy, ET tube, CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatment.

Certifications/Licensure

• NBRC RRT or CRT certification (must be attached to submission packet).
• Oklahoma RT license (must be attached to resume).
• ACLS & BLS certifications (must be attached to the submission; must be through the American Heart Association).
