Schedule/Shift
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule (schedules are 4 weeks).
Job Description
The Burn ICU at TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 12-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio, specializing in the care of patients requiring critical care for severe burns. The unit is equipped with ventilators, specialty beds, and occasionally CRRT. Staff includes a Charge RN, RNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for critically ill burn patients.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize Meditech for documentation and patient management.
Required Experience
- Previous experience in an ICU setting; med/surg experience is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
