ARMStaffing is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist, CVOR (Day Shift) in York, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Alternating days off with call requirements 1-2 days per week. Weekend coverage is required every 3rd or 4th weekend, from Friday at 4:30 PM until Monday at 6:00 AM. Holidays will be as needed.

Job Description

The Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in the Operating Room for open-heart surgeries and other cardiovascular procedures. This role requires experience in Level I trauma facilities and proficiency with related surgical instruments and techniques. Candidates must be prepared to care for COVID patients and adhere to a tobacco and fragrance-free policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during procedures.
• Ensure the sterilization and availability of surgical instruments.
• Participate in patient preparation and positioning.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Document surgical procedures in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
• Experience in Level I trauma care.

Certifications/Licensure

• NBSTSA certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• EPIC experience is required.
