Job Description

Join our dynamic team at UP Health System-Marquette as a Registered Nurse specializing in Inpatient Rehabilitation. You will care for adult patients with various rehabilitation needs. The unit consists of 16 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1, providing an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and document care in the EHR system.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and discharge plans.
• Provide support and education to patients experiencing emotional challenges.

Required Experience

• Basic medical-surgical nursing skills.

Certifications/Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
