Mid shifts, 4 days a week, 10 hours per shift.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist (ST) plays a crucial role in maintaining the sterile field and ensuring instrumentation is ready for all surgical procedures. The ST is responsible for preparing the operating room and organizing supplies efficiently for each case while collaborating with the Perioperative team to provide the highest standard of care in accordance with AORN standards during the intraoperative period. Additional supportive patient care may be provided as directed by the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room and organize medical supplies for surgical cases.
• Collaborate with Perioperative team members to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Assist in stocking and ordering supplies for the department.
• Provide additional supportive patient care as directed.

Required Experience

• Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist in Colorado, or ability to obtain before start date.
• Experience in orthopedic surgeries.
• Experience with the DaVinci Robot preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; may be obtained upon hire.

Certifications/Licensure

• Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST) preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
