Job Description

The NICU at HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children’s Hospital features a state-of-the-art facility with 42 beds dedicated to the care of critically ill newborns. This role involves working within a collaborative environment focused on family-centered care. As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing essential care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonatal patients.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment including incubators, NIPPV, and various types of cannulas.
• Monitor patient status and document progress through the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Neonatal Notes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create patient care plans.
• Perform specialized procedures such as circumcisions and ROP exams.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1-year current hospital experience in a NICU setting.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Level III NICU experience.

Certifications/Licensure

Valid Registered Nurse license and current BLS and NRP certifications are required.
