ARMStaffing is looking for a CT Technologist in Morristown, New Jersey.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7 PM to 8 AM (39 total hours, 37.5 billable hours); call and holiday included.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence while performing CT imaging procedures. Responsibilities include obtaining necessary supplies for specific procedures, maintaining the sterility of the field and instruments, preparing requisitions, and ensuring effective communication with patients and families to alleviate anxiety while respecting privacy and dignity. The technologist will adhere to HIPAA regulations, verify patient identification, observe patient conditions, ensure availability of medical records, and be prepared to respond to emergencies as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain scanning rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Participate in daily inventory, stocking supplies, and notifying the Lead of expired items.
• Triaged procedures according to daily schedule and coordinated emergency requests.
• Communicate effectively with departments regarding patient status and ensure timely transport post-procedure.
• Follow venipuncture and power injector protocols and assess patients for allergies/medication incompatibilities.
• Clean and maintain the CT unit and room after each use.
• Perform imaging procedures and document findings as required.
• Notify the radiologist of any unusual findings and convey images for urgent cases per established protocols.

Required Experience

CT registered; maintains current certification/licensure as required for position including venipuncture and CPR certification.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT RT (R)
• ARRT RT (CT)
• NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License
• BLS Certification
