ARMStaffing is looking for a CT Technologist, Radiology (Day Shift) in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Schedule/Shift

Part-time position requiring 20 hours per week, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 8 PM. Holiday availability is required.

Job Description

The Cat Scan Technologist will perform computer tomography procedures and assist with interventional and therapeutic techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation. This role requires thorough patient history review, contrast media administration, and collaboration with physicians to ensure proper imaging protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex CT procedures and ensure accurate execution of imaging protocols.
• Review and document patient clinical history, ensuring information is accurately scanned into PACS.
• Administer contrast media as prescribed and prepare patients by using appropriate shielding and immobilization techniques.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during procedures and address their questions and concerns effectively.
• Evaluate radiographs using PACS to confirm diagnostic quality and proper identification.
• Ensure all outside studies and related reports are available for Radiologists in PACS.
• Responsible for clarifying prescription details with referring physicians as needed.
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies regarding attendance, dress code, and professional conduct.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
• ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire date.
• ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license preferred.
