ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Nashville, Tennessee.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend (Saturday, Sunday), with flexible weekdays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a 28-bed Medical-Surgical unit, maintaining patient ratios of 5-6:1 during the day and 6:1 at night. The RN will utilize advanced technology, including Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, and remote telemetry, while documenting in the Meditech system.

Responsibilities

• Perform strong patient assessments and effective communication with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and operate IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets.
• Conduct procedures such as IV and Foley catheter placements.
• Participate in BSSR and hourly rounding as part of patient experience protocols.
• Float between Medical-Surgical units as needed, on a PRN basis.

Required Experience

• Strong assessment skills and experience with IV Pumps and medication dispensing systems.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification required; NIH and CPI preferred.
